I got laid off from my job at Thimble with about 30% of the company. I was inspired by the camaraderie and community my colleagues modeled for me following the experience, which lead me to create and post this video on LinkedIn.

The next morning I woke up to a flooded inbox of messages from recruiters. My colleagues also received messages and interviews too!

The video lead to my new role as a Senior Copywriter, a 50% salary increase, and most importantly, got my dogs into the Wall Street Journal.

So now all my media appearances are over, right? WRONG! Good Morning America called me and I didn’t hesitate to use it as an opportunity to get my dogs more screen time. Michael Strahan even implies that I gave “Good advice.”
